TACO (Turkey Afro Asia Creative Outreach) is looking for dancers to tour with a band in Kyrgyzstan. The band is John Ebel band. http://www.myspace.com/johnebel Dates: April 16-April 25 Dancers will dance in the concert and potentially before the concert starts. Several concerts throughout the country of Kyrgyzstan during these two weeks. Cost $850 plus airfare. Budapest, Hungary- Follow up trip from last year's outreach. Work alongside OM's music and visual arts teams to outreach on St. Margaret's Island in Budapest. Last year the team of dancers danced in an open air concert, in a subway station, in a skate park, etc. Dates: June 18-July 1. Cost $800 plus airfare. TRANSFORM 2010 Starts with a conference in Rome, Italy for all transform participants (artists and non-artists). JULY 19-24, 2010 Come together with hundreds of young people from around the world. The week-long conference will provide training, worship, prayer, networking, and teaching in order to prepare you for the outreach ministry that will follow. Dancers will have some set aside time to work together, choreograph, rehearse and train for ministry through dance. Following the conference, teams will go out to some of the countries surrounding the Mediterranean region. You will have the incredible opportunity to share the gospel through dance. What does this look like? It could include any of the following- dancing in a park, shopping center, subway, local church. Dancing in an open/public area always draws a crowd of people and brings them into conversation so a relationship can build. Relationships of course pave the way to share the truth. In some areas, we work primarily with children teaching dance camps. The possibilities to use dance in outreach are endless. Please pray about joining in with this Transform 2010 movement. Cost $949 plus airfare. Portugal-Sharing the gospel through dance in open areas. Dates: July 19-24 conference, outreach July 24-Aug. 8. Cost: $1041 plus airfare. Other Transform 2010 outreaches that aren't specifically organized by Dancelink, but would like dancers to come and work alongside the team: Turkey- Maximum Impact! Creative Artists for Jesus. Reaching people for Christ through performing, giving testimony, sharing and signing people up for the Bible Correspondence Course. Dates: July 19-24 conference, outreach July 24-Aug. 12. Cost $1,828 plus airfare. Italy- Arts and Media Outreach. A team of artists and communicators of different disciplines such as: photography, writing, videography, painting, graphic design, web design, dance, etc. will use their various God given gifts to share the gospel in creative ways. Dates: July 19-24 conference, outreach July 24-Aug. 16. Cost $1,821 plus airfare. *** All costs and dates are subject to change. Cost does not include spending money.
